Dear Family,
We are thrilled to inform you that your missionary has
arrived safely to the mission field. Elder Thompson
appears to be healthy, and in good spirits, and seems eager to get to
work. He will be staying the evening in Kennewick, and will be meeting his
Trainer on Wednesday morning, and then after some orientation and more
training, will be traveling with his companion to their new area Wednesday
evening. Thank you so much for raising such a fine young man in such a
way that he is willing and worthy to serve a mission.
Elder Thompson is in
good hands! Just so you don’t worry, he is writing a handwritten letter
tonight to be sent to your mailing address tomorrow. Also, his Preparation Day
will be on Mondays through the end of his mission, emails will be exchanged
then. Elder Thompson will let you know, in
advance, if a Preparation Day changes due to a Federal Holiday or a special
temple visit.
